Interests & Hobbies:
We enjoy being outdoors in nature walking, hiking, tide pooling and camping. We also enjoy going to baseball games and bowling. Paul enjoys bird watching, gardening and cooking. Lori likes to take pictures, scrap book and collect children's books.

Home:
We live in a condominium community minutes from the ocean. Our neighborhood has lots of trees and wonderful walking paths.

Pets:
We have one cat named Shelby who loves to sleep on Paul's lap while we watch TV in the evenings.

Finances:
We are financially secure thanks to Paul's job as a supervising Wildlife Biologist with the State of California.

Why you are interested in building your family through adoption:
We discovered that what we really wanted was to become parents and feel that adoption is the answer for us.

Openness to Birthparents:
We feel that open adoption is the best for everyone involved. We hope that you would always be a part of your child's life and that we stay connected through the sharing of letters, pictures visits.

Child Care Plan:
It is our plan that Lori become a stay at home mom, only working part time when Paul is at home. Paul's position allows him flexibility in his work schedule to be home 1 to 2 days a week.
