Common Interests:
We enjoy spending time together, whether it be traveling to another country or just a walk around the lake. Exercising is important to us; we enjoy going to the gym, and kayaking and swimming in our lake during the summer. We love the arts and have fun going to concerts, musicals and plays. Going to Disneyland, watching movies and playing video games on our Wii brings out the kid in us! We also enjoy spending time with our family and friends.
Home:
Our first home was a beautiful 5-bedroom house in south Orange County. We sold it at the top of the market and bought a condo in a gated community on a lake with our own private beach. Once our family is established, we are excited to purchase another large home.
Pets:
At this time we do not have any pets. However, we would like to get some fun, kidfriendly pets such as: fish, hermit crabs and a guinea pig. We also want to get caterpillars and watch them turn into butterflies, see how tadpoles turn into frogs, and examine worms making tunnels in the soil. Once we know our child does not have any allergies, a Yorkshire Terrier would make a wonderful addition to our family!
Finances:
We are financially secure and can live comfortably on Mike’s salary. Not only do we own our home, but we also have savings, investments and retirement accounts.

After years of infertility, we are committed to growing our family through the miracle of adoption.
Openness to Birthparents:
We feel tremendously blessed by the birthmother and understand her incredible sacrifice. We are happy to meet the birthparents before and after placement, and continue communication through letters and pictures.
Child Care Plans:
Shari is looking forward to being a stay-at-home mom. Mike is able to work from home Thursdays and Fridays and has the weekends off. We are excited that we will be able to celebrate each milestone and share these wonderful experiences together.
