Julianna Marie was born in September - 2004. Her birth mother placed her into our care when she was one week old and her adoption was finalized December - 2005. She is three years old, blonde with blue eyes. She is a healthy, joy-filled, and out-going little girl who wears princess dresses by day and "Cars" pajamas by night. People notice her great verbal skills, self motivation, creativity, thoughtfulness, and eagerness to help others. She loves reading, "fixing" and building things, dancing, playing music, singing, climbing, running, bike riding and bowling.

Home:
Our home is located in West Hills, a suburb of Los Angeles, CA. -driving distance to the beach and mountains. Inside, the open spaced rooms are great for family time and arranged to allow for music, games, crafts and pillow forts. Outside, the back yard allows space for a large play set, grass lawn for picnics or sports and areas for gardening and sand play. The covered patio accommodates large family gatherings year round. The large front lawn is a popular place to play games of chase and chat with our neighbors.
Pets:
We have two cats. Figaro, (12 years old) is a black and white, long haired mix who loves to be groomed, acts very regal and has assumed the role of father to Francis (10 years old), a grey tabby cat, who is curious, playful and loves to eat and eat. Francis was rescued as a kitten by one of Judith's friends who works with animal rescue organizations.
Finances:
Ken works in an industry that provides stability and security for our family, and enables Judith to be a fulltime mom. His salary allows us to maintain a modest home, enjoy vacation time and travel each year. As a vocalist, Judith has the flexibility to earn an income from music events and CD sales in a way that doesn't conflict with family time. She can also choose to work full or part time in teaching if the need arises.
Why are you interested in building your family through adoption:
We love children and hope to expand our family. Medical tests concluded that we are unlikely to conceive our own child. Having experienced the incredible joy of adoption we want to pursue this again. Our interaction with other families who have adopted children has also enlightened us to the benefits of brothers and sisters sharing the adoption experience in common with each other.
Child Care Plans:
Judith loves having the opportunity to stay at home with Julianna. We plan to continue this fulltime care with the next child we adopt. It is clear to us that this attention makes a positive difference. When we need someone to look after Julianna (and any future children), we are fortunate to have grandparents, aunts and uncles and family friends living so close with open arms and homes.
