Our Home: We live in a newly re-modeled 3 bedroom home, located in an up-scale community. Our home is warm and inviting and often filled with friends and family.  Jeff works in a office that is detached from our home but on the same property. The public and private schools in our area are excellent.

Finance and Child Care Plans: We are financially secure. Jeff has had a stable job with the same company for the past 7 years and has worked in the Sporting Goods industry for 21 years. Lisa has worked at the same company for 24 years.  She is currently part-time and entertaining the idea of being a stay-at-home-mom.  At this time Lisa’s mom watched Gabby and would also watch our second child.

Why we are interested in building our family through adoption: We had always hoped to have a large family.  However, due to unknown reasons we are unable to get pregnant on our own.  Before we had even finished our last round of infertility treatment we had an opportunity to adopt a baby boy.  We agreed that would be a wonderful way to grow our family. However, after he was born the birth mother decided to keep him. Even after going that far in the adoption process and not getting a baby we are sure we still want to adopt.  Gabby thanks God at prayer time everyday for her Mommy, Daddy and baby brother or sister (that she hopes to have soon).  She will make a wonderful, helpful big sister who will adore a sibling. We know when you pray for and wait for a child for so long there is a special kind of love and appreciation for them.  We know this because of long journey to conceive Gabby.
