Children: We have one son, Chase 11 years old. He is from Hans’ first marriage. Chase is a sweet, well rounded child, who has been eager to be a big brother since we got married in 2003. He is gentle with kids of all ages, as well as takes full responsibility for our dogs. We know he will be the best brother for any new member of our family.

Home: We live just outside Atlanta, Georgia. We own a four-bedroom, three-bathroom two story brick house, across the street from a large city park, and surrounded by excellent schools. Our neighborhood is extremely safe and kid friendly. We are close distance to Atlanta, providing endless entertainment and cultural events. We are also driving distance to the mountains, where we often got for day trips for hiking and boating.

Common Interests: We love our family and friends and enjoy spending time with them as often as we can. We also love the outdoors and spend most of our days outside, gardening, playing with our two small dogs, and having neighborhood cookouts and attending sporting events.

Finances: We are financially secure and believe in working hard to achieve our desires. We have a savings and a retirement plan.

Pets: We have two small dogs. Pete and Pearl are both Jack Russell Terriers. Pearl was a rescue dog. Both are tender, sweet and very well –behaved.

Child Care Plan: Because Toni is working on a part-time basis. We will plan to be there full time for the new child, raising it from day one in our home.

Adoption Story: Not being able to conceive on our own, and even though Hans has an 11 year old son, we still want to grow our family. We love children, and surround ourselves with friends who have families. We understand that life’s biggest reward is family.

Adoption Plan: We are open to male or female and any race. We would love to meet you prior to birth and also keep in touch with you afterward. This child will always know what love and consideration went into this decision.
