Dear Birth Mother,

Our names are Tim and Jennifer. We would like to take this moment to introduce ourselves to you. We met on a blind date in 1993 and instantly became the best of friends and fell madly in love with each other. We married in 1995 and began our lives together. Our love for each other grows stronger with every day and we are very excited to share our love with a child. We chose adoption after years of pain with miscarriages and infertility. One of the most important things for us is to have a family. We have always been open to the possibility of adopting a child. We discussed this as a definite option if we were unable to have children before ever trying to start a family.

Tim was born in Santa Aria, California. He was raised in a Christian home. He works as a project manager for Traffic Control Services, Inc in Anaheim, California. He has worked for the company since 1985 and continues to excel and move up in the company. Tim is a wonderful and loving man. He gives 100% to family, friends and work. He has a wonderful sense of hwnor and is always playing practical jokes on people. He enjoys watching sports on television and puttering in the garage and around the house. He calls the garage “the man's domain”. He enjoys working on our cars and fixing things around the house. He is always up for a challenge.

Jennifer was born in Compton, California. She also was raised in a Christian home. She recently left her position as a sales manager for Bank of America due to her department being closed. She worked for the company since 1989. She worked hard and continued to move up the ladder and excel in her various positions. She will spend some time off with her family and will eventually look for some new positions. She also gives 100% to family, friends and work. She is a very loving, compassionate and nurturing person. She loves spending time with family and friends. She loves shopping and decorating the house and is always changing something around the house. She also enjoys various crafts and recently learned to make rag quilts.

We have always dreamed of having a family. We have always felt that children are a blessing. Both of us grew up as only children and would love to have more than one child. However if we are only blessed with one child we would be just as thrilled. We have much love to offer.

We love spending time together on the weekends renting movies and ordering take out. One of our favorite things to do is go to Disneyland. We enjoy it so much that we purchase annual passes each year and look forward to sharing our love for the park with a child. We enjoy a variety of activities. When we have time during the summer we enjoy going to the local lakes and to the river. During the colder weather we are now starting to go to the desert with our friends. Tim enjoys riding on the trails in his Samurai Jeep and I enjoy following on my ATV. We recently purchased an RV in order to travel more. We also enjoy vacationing whenever we have a chance. Tim doesn't like flying but he enjoys the vacation once his feet are firmly on the ground. So far we have been to Cancun, a cruise to the Bahamas and Australia. We have also taken several road trips to Utah where my grandfather lives. Recently, Jennifer enjoyed a trip to Scotland and London with her mother. Tim unfortunately wasn't able to attend this adventure.

We own a 4 bedroom home located in a wonderful community in Corona. We share our home with our two dogs, Clyde, a black Lab, Phoebe, a Pug and our three cats, Rusty, Shadow and Tigger. All of our pets are extremely gentle, loving and very spoiled. We have several good schools in the area and there are two parks in walking distance. The neighbors are all very nice and there are quite a few children of all ages in the neighborhood. Our backyard is large and Tim is looking forward to either building a fort or a dollhouse, something he has always wanted to do with a child.

We have a diverse group of friends from neighbors to longtime friends to work friends. All are very excited and supportive of our choice in adoption. Our neighborhood is unusual in some respects in that we are very close with quite a few of our neighbors. These are the people we travel with to the desert. They are also very excited and are constantly asking where we are with the adoption. Our family is ecstatic as well. Both Tim and Jennifer's mothers are anxious to become grandmothers. Any child brought into our home would be spoiled with love and affection.

We look forward to an open adoption. We feel that a child can never have too much love. We hope to have a great relationship with the birth parents. We would love to be able to get together over dinner or lunch and exchange pictures and letters. We definitely want a child to know and understand the adoption and what their history is. We also want the birth parents to be a part of our lives.
