Jim Schmiesing is resident in the Irvine office and works primarily in the areas of business and corporate, real estate, estate planning, trusts, conservatorships and probate. Jim is a graduate of Loyola University School of Law in Los Angeles (J.D.) and holds a certificate in tax from the University of Southern California. A member of the California Bar since 1963, he is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and United States Tax Court. In 1969, Jim relocated to Orange County where he has practiced and lived since. He and Tim Blied have been together for over 20 years and with Jerry Mackey for six years. Jim and his wife Julie have been married for over 35 years and have four adult children. Jim is active in a teaching ministry for his church and has obtained his master's and doctoral degree's in theology.
